The hunter has become the hunted.
I’ve been running for ten years—fleeing my past and clawing my way toward an inescapable act of vengeance. Finally, I can taste revenge on the tip of my tongue.
Until he walks into my life, sure and strong and full of secrets.
He dilutes my thirst for retribution with his touch. He obliterates my need for solitude with his kiss. But it’s his hidden agenda that makes the hair on the back of my neck prickle.
He wants something. Something that doesn’t revolve around sweaty skin and tangled silk sheets like he’d have me believe.
I have to stop falling for him, otherwise the last ten years will all be for nothing. I need to keep running, keep fighting for vengeance, even though I know he will track me down.
But trying to escape him is just another problem. Because now I crave the hunt.

My Review

Hunter be Eden Summers is a pulse-pounding and libido-thumping standalone, romantic suspense novel.

“A woman has never come between me and my job before. A woman has never stolen my focus and created havoc in my mind. A woman has never controlled me. Not even a little bit. And certainly not with her level of effortless efficiency.”

Well, holy smokes!  This is the first novel I’ve read by Author Eden Summers and it was phenomenal!  From the very first chapter, I was under its spell. The intensity and thrill made heat run through my veins while a simultaneous chill left goose bumps on my skin.

“I hope you like it rough.” I shudder. “And what if I don’t?” His gaze glides to mine as a lone finger parts my slick folds. “Then I’ll enjoy changing your mind.”

Hunter was a smoking hot, sexy, dirty talking, make-me-want-to-jump-his-bones bad man.  Oh so bad!  Oh so good!  I was hooked on his unique way of showing love and interest in Steph. I loved that he wanted so badly to be able to break the spell she cast on him, but he couldn’t. She was his kryptonite. Steph…her pure honesty, in ALL things, was refreshing. She knew what she liked, how she liked it, and drew the line.  Man, she was a bad-to-the-bone heroine.

“I’m going down with this ship. Going down faster and harder than a cheerleader on prom night.”

The intensity of sensual moments was a predominate aspect of the story.  But coupling this with the story’s fast pace and continual danger that threatened to change the course of our hero and heroine’s lives, the author planted the seed of madness for my eyes to feast on this story until there were no pages remaining.

“The only thing a woman wants to find hard in a guy’s pants is his d***. Ditch the gun next time.”

Driven by sex and co-piloted by lust, Hunter was a hard and fast, suspense-filled romance novel that completely took me by surprise and knocked me off my feet. I highly recommend this novel.

“Who are you?”

“Your fantasy,”
