Synopsis

Benny had a dolly who was sick, sick, sick.
Just like him, his dolly needed darkness as a fix, fix, fix.
So they tormented and hunted and played tricks, tricks, tricks.
Together their sins a lethal mix, mix, mix.

Until Benny missed his dolly who was lost, lost, lost.
He needed to find her and love her at any cost, cost, cost.
Not wanting him and his dolly to be alone, lone, lone.
He made plans to bring his dirty dolly, home, home, home.

Have you ever touched another’s soul with the essence of your own, breathed them in so they become apart of you?
I have.
Finally starting to live, feel and fall in love, amongst all the chaos surrounding me.
Dropping my guard and letting another into my heart.
I left my soul open.
I left my heart open.
I left the door open.
And he stole me.
Dillon…I’m sorry.

My Review

Pretty Lost Dolls by Authors Ker Dukey and K. Webster is book two in the Pretty Stolen Dolls series.

“Love is a savage beast trapped within me, thickening and savoring its desire laid out before it. Everything will soon be right.”

My thoughts before I began reading Pretty Lost Dolls…
I am both afraid and excited to open the pages. Pretty Stolen Dolls left my mind reeling with the unknown being unresolved and open to the universe for possibilities.

Sometimes a tough girl who is used to saving herself needs a hero and maybe a hero needs a girl to save him too.

I honestly had no idea of what to expect in this second book by Authors Ker Dukey and K. Webster. I assumed there would be twists and turns of epic proportions. I got that for sure! At times, these were visualized through a slight opening between two fingers as I peeked out of them in fear and trepidation. Being away from Benny for a short period of time, I had almost forgotten how deranged he was. But, it didn’t take long for me to see all of his convoluted and crazed ways. I also got a deeper glimpse of Macy, which elicited numerous gasps of incredulity. But, the stars of the story, Jade and Dillon, made a return that would give a one-two punch to Benny and his demented plans.

My thoughts after I read Pretty Lost Dolls…
That was so dark and twisted I had a hard time seeing that there might be an end. And the ending! Aaah! It was seared onto my brain like a branding from a hot poker.

“I do know the difference between right and wrong, but I just like the way wrong feels, it’s an impulse, an urge more intense than anything else.”

Pretty Lost Dolls made me twitch, twitch, twitch and I think I may even have an itch, itch, itch from the eerie musings of the man who did stitch all his pretty dolls.

“A love this powerful can’t be broken. It can be crushed and burned and smashed, but as long as we have each other, we’ll keep putting it back together again. Because love is worth it.”

About Ker Dukey

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could of improved the story if they took another direction so i thought it best that i tell my own.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
You can find me on Facebook where i love interacting with my readers.
