Synopsis

They don’t call it the Strip for nothing. . . .

In this sinfully sexy Las Vegas romance from bestselling author Heidi McLaughlin, a man who has it all reunites with a woman who takes it all off.

Living in Sin City, Finn McCormick is no stranger to one-night stands, but the last person he expects to find losing big on the casino floor is a former high school fling. Even though Macey Webster’s clearly down on her luck, she’s still a knockout, and she’s dressed like a stripper—because she is one. Drunk off an unfamiliar cocktail of lust, pity, and compassion, Finn offers to pay Macey’s debts if she cuddles up to him around town . . . and does whatever he wants between the sheets.

Macey came to Vegas for one reason only: money. She’s got a young daughter to support, and the tips really are bigger in Vegas. But when she blows her earnings on blackjack, her guardian angel is the rich boy who once stole her heart and never called her back. Although Macey would love to turn the tables on Finn, she can’t afford to refuse his proposition—and soon she’s enjoying herself much more than she cares to admit. Macey’s used to baring her flesh, but baring her soul will take far more courage.

My Review

Stripped Bare by Author Heidi McLaughlin is book one in the Vegas Billionaire series. It is a different slant on second chance romance.

It’s puberty and the girls’ locker room scene all over again, but this time the tits are bigger, the claws are longer and the looks definitely kill.

Macey has come to the point in her life in which she is short on choices with a long list of dreams.  Stripping wasn’t her first choice of professions, yet it pay the bills for her and her daughter, Morgan

Finn is masterful when it comes to sex, bringing me to the brink over and over again until the ache is too much to bear. He’s there when I fall apart, taking in every second, relishing in the victory.

Holy smokes!! And heavy on the smoke and heat that this book threw out.  It was hot!  Macey and Finn burned up the pages of this novel, leaving behind their signature snark and smutty talk to accompany it.  This story reminded me so much of Pretty Woman, but with twists that never graced the screen of that movie. A suave and debonair Finn meets a lower income and desperate stripper and makes all of her fantasies come true. What’s not to love about that?

…his blue eyes, that cocky smirk and the way he carries himself will get me into trouble if I’m not careful.

These characters made me smile, laugh, giggle, and, most importantly, they just made me feel good.  We read romance to hope in love and find escape.  Stripped Bare fulfilled this and more. It was just a fabulous, smile-time book.
