My Review

Faith Andrews has written one of the most beautiful love stories. Feel Again had a little of everything I love! The taboo aspect of the main characters’ relationship. A strong and hot couple.  And while I had an initial feeling that I would fall in love with this book, I was totally unprepared for the depths of that reality.

“Sometimes the best things in life are unexpected.”

Gabby’s life has just made a sharp and unexpected change that has turned her world upside down in such a way she thinks she will never recover. In an attempt to allow the past to heal, she makes a move that will change her life in ways she cannot imagine and would only dream.

“I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for a chance like this.”

Caleb’s arrival sets our minds buzzing with anticipation. He is THE player of all players. Just as Gabby, he is not expecting the sudden reversal in direction that his life is about to take, and is definitely not prepared for how it will expose many parts of his physical and emotional life that he had thought would never be possible.

“We’ll take it slow. I’m in no rush, baby. I’ve been waiting a lifetime for something this good.”

We become privy to the inner workings of the least likely to be paired together couple. First meetings and second meetings that leave us aching for more. As Gabby begins to allow herself to explore the feelings that Caleb evokes in her we begin to experience some of the most sensual and reviving moments. Their relationship is one that should not even be considered, but there in lies the beauty and draw. We watch as Caleb breathes life back into Gabby and she offers him something that he never knew existed, giving us one of the most beautiful contemporary romance stories.

“You make me want things I never knew I wanted.”

Faith Andrews wrote one of the most riveting introductions to a story. It picked me up out of my reading space and took me back to that day as if it was happening all over again. From the opening chapter I was held captive by the words on the page. This is a different kind of second chance love story. A second chance at love and a second chance at life. Renewal, reawakening, and experiencing a new love for the first time. Pennies from heaven made my already softened heart melt and I wasn’t even that far into the story. Caleb’s first impression of Gabby made my heart beat out of my chest. Then listening to Gabby’s own point of view…purely magical!  Gina was a welcomed addition to the story, Gabby’s ray of hope and sunshine. The interactions of Gabby, her sister and her daughters wooed me. There were so many moments when I wanted to wrap Gabby in a hug and let her cry it out. She went through so much, and was such a strong picture of femininity at its best. When Aubrey showed up I knew she would be trouble. The song that came to mind for her was “Maneater”. Caleb’s initial inner dialogue of fun and flirtatiousness was in stark contrast to the serious and stoic dialogue of Gabby. The synchronicity of characters increased the level of intensity.    I sank deeper and deeper into this new world that surrounded Gabby and Caleb. New heights and depths were reached in this story that made me continually beg for more.   If there were ever two lost souls that found home and a place in one another,  it was Gabby and Caleb. Go grab this book and let your heart soar.

“I’m not a spiritual man, but she just might be sent from heaven. She’s the type of woman who could change the whole game.”
