My name is Sebastian Lindstrom, and I’m the villain of this story.
I’ve decided to lay myself bare. To tell the truth for once in my hollow life, no matter how dark it gets. And I can assure you, it will get so dark that you’ll find yourself feeling around the blackened corners of my mind, seeking a door handle that isn’t there.

Don’t mistake this for a confession. I neither seek forgiveness nor would I accept it. My sins are my own. They keep me company. Instead, this is the true tale of how I found her, how I stole her, and how I lost her.
She was a damsel, one who already had her white knight. But every fairy tale has a villain, someone waiting in the wings to rip it all down. A scoundrel who will set the world on fire if that means he gets what he wants. That’s me.

I’m the bad guy.

My Review

The Bad Guy by Author Celia Aaron is a standalone dark romance novel.

“Every bad guy is the hero of his own tale.”

When the first chapter in a book gets your salivary glands working overtime, you know it’s going to be a juicy read.  The storyline for The Bad Guy was a set up for trouble.  It was hard, unscrupulous, and forbidden.

Don’t mistake this for a confession.  I neither seek forgiveness nor would I accept it. My sins are my own. They keep me company. Instead, this is the true tale of how I found her, how I stole her, and how I lost her.

Author Celia Aaron always creates characters that have such high sexual appeal, one cannot help but be drawn into their atmosphere. I have read some deranged and delusional male characters, but Sebastian definitely took a top spot on the cuckoo shelf.  Having said that, I loved every crazy bone in his body.  He was all wrong and twisted.  His insane reasoning felt so real.  The way in which this author allowed us to hear Sebastian’s thoughts and feel his possessive and powerful nature was unparalleled. Through his eyes I came to know the very sultry and striking Camille. The young woman that was seen through others eyes, becomes a different creature when cast through Sebastian’s, fascinating me as each layer of her and Sebastian’s unnatural relationship was exposed.

The spark lit an Inferno.  It blazed up and promised destruction for anything that got between us. She was mine.

The most riveting part of this story came by way of solving a puzzle and revealing the heart’s true intentions.  It was an uphill climb that crossed many lines and traversed terrain that might would make the best person quit.  But, not Sebastian and Camille.  In spite of how their love came to be, it evoked infatuation and commanded attention.

“I’m drawn to your spark of darkness the same way you’re drawn to the ocean of mine. We aren’t magnets pulled together by a weak force;  we create our own gravity for each other.”

The Bad Guy was absolutely one of the most sacred dark romance stories. It was love in rare form, filled with desire, fire, and a dash of crazy.

“And I think that’s why you were right.  I think that’s what makes me the bad guy – that I’d kill or build, destroy or create for you.”

About Celia Aaron

Hi, I'm Celia. Nice to meet you. Can you keep a secret?

I write smut. Gritty, dirty, delicious smut. This is a secret we can share. I'll do the writing. You do the reading. We have to keep our relationship quiet because I have a highly respectable day job. At night, I become markedly less respectable, as you will see.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my stories. And remember, it's our secret.
