I rescued Sabrina from a mafia bloodbath when she was thirteen. Doing right by her became a priority for me, even while I was busy as the new head of the Philly syndicate. I sent her to the best boarding schools and kept her as far away from the life as possible. It worked perfectly. Until she turned 18. Until she came home. Until I realized that the timid girl was gone and in her place lived a smart mouth, a wicked imagination, and a body that demanded my attention. Who am I? I’m F*cked. Nice to meet you.

My Review

Nate by Author Celia Aaron is a taboo, dark romance novel.

“Nate and I were braided together, our threads intertwining from the first moment we met. I couldn’t explain it, but the link was real, and sometimes, when I’d remember the violence of my past on dark, lonely nights, that link was the only thing that kept me grounded.”

Nate was trouble.  The bad man. Dark. Secretive. Intimidating.  But not as much trouble as Sabrina.  She was older now than when they first met. More sexy. And totally forbidden. He was to be her guardian, in more ways than one, and she hoped to become his everything.

“Seeing no evidence of my interest in boys, they judged me to be a prude. But they were wrong. My issue was simple: I didn’t want a boy. I wanted a man. One man in particular.”

I promise you, I feel like I win the lotto every time I open a book from Celia Aaron. Nate continued this love fest.  At 4%, I had a grin on my face like the cat that ate the canary, as our hero and heroine were introduced. Nate, the alpha-male, overprotective, boss gave Sabrina a lesson in more than what he did for work.  He schooled her body and mind, fusing their souls together in an unbreakable bond.  She was he soothing balm, his elixir, and his wildfire. He was her protector, her king, and her greatest hope.

I loved that Celia Aaron gave us an inside look at the mafia. But not just the inner-workings of their organization.  She wrote the good, the bad, and the ugly, making us steadfastly connect with not only Nate and Sabrina but also the men who protected them.  This solidified the plot and allowed us to envision the realistic nature of the story.

“I think we were both broken and we were the only ones who could make each other whole again.”

Nate was a dark and steamy romance where forbidden love became a necessity to live.

About Celia Aaron

Hi, I'm Celia. Nice to meet you. Can you keep a secret?

I write smut. Gritty, dirty, delicious smut. This is a secret we can share. I'll do the writing. You do the reading. We have to keep our relationship quiet because I have a highly respectable day job. At night, I become markedly less respectable, as you will see.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my stories. And remember, it's our secret.
