There’s two sides to every story...

And ours? Isn't pretty...

Then again, what's pretty about the mafia?

Trace Rooks, that’s what.

But she only wants one of us, and I'll kill him before I let him have her.

The only problem?

We're cousins.
And she may just be our long lost enemy.

Whoever said college was hard, clearly didn't attend Eagle Elite University.

Welcome to hell also known as the Mafia where blood is thicker than life, and to keep yours? Well, keep your friends close, and your enemies?

Even closer...

Rachel Van Dyken has done it once again!!  The Eagle Elite series has proven to be one of intrigue, power, danger, lust, love, fun, and adventure. Enforce follows in this same manner.  I love when I am able to read a book from one character’s point of view, and then offered a perspective from another main character.  I especially enjoy when authors  give males the opportunity to voice their own feelings and perspectives regarding the story.   Imagine my thrill when I found out I would be reading a book from all- male perspectives, and there would be four of them.  I was OVER-THE-TOP excited!   I started this series earlier in the year and have never been disappointed with the writing that has lined each page of Rachel Van Dyken’s books.

In Enforce we are given a refresher on the main characters in the Eagle Elite Series.  Trace, the new girl at Eagle Elite. Nixon, The Boss, who it trying to keep his feelings for Trace at bay.  Chase, second in command to Nixon, also having a difficult time hiding the feelings that are mounting for Trace.  Tex. an interesting character that is hiding from his past and his feelings for Mo, Nixon’s sister.  Mo, roommate to Trace, and romantic interest to Tex.  Phoenix, the lifelong friend who can never quite get it right.  The constant banter between Nixon and Trace was exhilarating, like watching a heated (and insane) tug of war match, wondering which person would end up being snatched into the mud-hole in the middle.  The mesh of character personalities and how this colored their dialogue was incredible.  Each interaction revealed more sides of the characters and their inner feelings, sometimes in a serious way, and sometimes in a laugh-out-loud-so hard-you’re-crying way.  We go through many twists and turns in the budding relationships between many of the characters.  We learn about secrets, some that have short-lived consequences, and some that will have a lasting effect on the future.  We are also given a thorough education on the basics of mafia life for Nixon and his friends…the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I was like a kid in a candy store reading through every page of this book.  It is a must-read for the year!!
