Hook, Book One

Women loathed me without even knowing my name. Men coveted the very idea of me. Escort. Call girl. Prostitute. Hooker. Whore. I'd heard it all. Done it all. Over the years, I'd felt a lot of things about my occupation...but not regret - never regret. I had my reasons for doing what I did and nothing and no one had ever made me question them.

Until Marco Valenti. He'd changed me and I'd naively fed into the fairytale. But Marco wasn't my Prince Charming. He had secrets of his own. Secrets that would eventually rip away everything I held dear.

Burn, Book Two

The stunning conclusion to the Duplicity Duet from USA Today best-selling author Elisabeth Grace.

"No." One word. Two letters. But those two letters changed everything. It was impossible to predict the impact I would have on the life of the only woman I'd ever truly loved. No way to know that I would result in her ruin. I'd suffer for eternity with the knowledge that it was me who brought devastation to her doorstep.

Though I deserved the anguish I felt, to see her suffer was unacceptable. I would fix this. Somehow I would prove to her that I wasn't the monster she thought I was. Even if it meant becoming a monster in order to make that happen.

My Review

Hook & Burn: The Duplicity Duet by Author Elisabeth Grace is an erotica contemporary romance.

“Somehow my body knew what I didn’t already. Marco Valenti would be the springboard in my life that caused everything to change.”

“Brandi” had been an escort for many years to help provide a stable and medically adequate home environment for her and her son. Her clients were just that, men that paid for her time. They meant nothing. Until Marco Valenti. A sexy name for a sexy man. He was her game-changer and she was his destiny.

“I finally knew what it meant to be in love with someone. It was a sacrifice and an honor that you bestowed upon someone when you trusted them enough to give them the only thing that truly had the power to destroy you. Your love. There was nothing in the world more fulfilling or more terrifying.”

The Duplicity Duet was a sexy and seductive novel. I didn’t merely fall for the main characters, I plunged head-over-heels for them. Marco was sensual, controlling, and demanding. But he also had this soft side that he allowed to peek through at times. Brandi was such a complex lady. Sultry and provocative on one side, tender and caring on the other. Another fabulous addition was Daniel. This little man was an endearing heartthrob that was a lady-killer in training.

“It was soul deep and fathomless and scary as hell.”

Thrilling, dangerous, and mysterious. There were so many facets to the story that complicated this world and captivated mine. I hung on every word and action in this duet as the story morphed from eroticism to passion and then into fury and fight. My mood went from light and heady to sorrowful and ruined as my chest was being pressed in and crushed. But, Author Elisabeth Grace had some tricks up her sleeve, not leaving me in a state of distress for too long, and giving me an ending that mirrored the heat and hope I had longed for from the beginning.

“I can’t imagine how I was lucky enough to find an angel in a city full of sin.”
